The Manager of Medical Device Reprocessing (MDRD) reports to the Program Director for Surgery. The Manager maintains 24 hour responsibility for all aspects of patient care activities in the assigned perioperative portfolio and also acts as a resource to the other sites at QHC as required. The Manager provides clinical and managerial leadership, direction and supports the interdisciplinary team members in the
provision of optimum quality of care to patients and their families/significant others.
This position reports directly to the Director, Communications and Engagement and is responsible for:
- the generation, production and management of information and knowledge to support the achievement of LHIN strategic directions, goals and objectives;
- coordinating a public relations and marketing program for the North West LHIN; and
- acting as the primary public relations and marketing resource to key stakeholders, managing local issues and concerns, identifying and implementing communication and engagement methods, and building and maintaining effective relationships.
Reporting to the Director of Strategy, Planning & Integration, the successful applicant will provide support and advocacy for French-speaking clients and families across the South East LHIN. The French Language Health System Navigator (the Navigator) facilitates and coordinates access to French healthcare services, addresses client’s cultural and linguistic needs, and networks with French language service providers and organizational partners. The Navigator supports the strategic goals and initiatives of the South East LHIN to develop culturally and linguistically inclusive care to the Francophone and French-speaking community.
