Rural Frontenac, Lennox & Addington

The Rural Frontenac, Lennox & Addington sub-region is one of five sub-regions within the South East LHIN that represents a local planning area for health services. These sub-regions have a strong history of planning together, sharing resources and training opportunities, and working on common issues. While a sub-region approach to health service planning and evaluation has been in place for several years, the South East LHIN is now formalizing the sub-region geographies to focus on providing equitable access to health care services for the residents within the region, improving health outcomes for the population, and arranging for people to receive the level of care they need closer to home.
