Paula Heinemann, Director of Corporate Services/Controller was the second employee to join the South East Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) in its start-up year in 2005. As Director of Corporate Services / Controller, Paula leads and oversees the internal corporate operations of the South East LHIN organization and the Corporate Services team and is responsible for all corporate services functions including Human Resources and Corporate Finance in support of the LHIN organization, its management, staff, and Board of Directors.  As a dedicated and skilled business manager, Paula has over 30 years of experience in: 

  • Leading work of multi-disciplinary teams
  • Human resource and financial management within both private and public sectors at municipal, provincial and federal levels
  • Business consulting services to Federal Government Departments and Crown Agencies such as Human Resource Development Canada, Privy Council Office, Treasury Board Secretariat, Public Works & Government Services Canada, Department of Finance, Agriculture Canada, and Consulting & Audit Canada

Paula holds a Qualified Mediator (QMed) Designation issued by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada, and is a Certified Conflict Management Practictioner. Paula specializes in Negotiation, Conflict Management, Alternative Dispute Resolution services, coaching, training and facilitation.
