Director, Health Service Provider Funding & Allocations
Larry Hofmeister, Director of Health Service Provider Funding and Allocation, has been with the South East Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) since February of 2007, being promoted to director January of 2010. Larry is responsible for the oversight and management of the financial allocations to health service providers within the South East region of Ontario. Larry and his team also provide project management and strategic direction to the funding allocation group.
Prior to joining the LHIN, Larry’s extensive budgeting, economic and financial analysis experience includes:
- 20 years within telecommunications and agriculture financial sectors;
- Working with the Management Board Secretariat of the Ontario Government as a Senior Analyst, assessing the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care’s submissions for completeness and consistency with established or developing government policy; and
- In 2005 became a Business Planning Coordinator for the Public Health Division of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, coordinating the development and submission of the Divisional Budget.
Larry, originally from Saskatchewan, has a BA, BAdmin (Distinction) and CPA, CMA designationand has led many teams of Financial Analysts who identified, developed and recommended opportunities and strategies for the corporations to achieve strategic and financial objectives.
