Shelley Dagorne provides finance and corporate services leadership for the South East, Champlain and Central East LHINs, and leads this team as one integrated entity supporting Ontario Health East. Shelley brings to her role significant experience in building resilient teams, strategic change management, process improvement, systems implementation, audit, risk management, and financial and organizational planning.
Most recently, Shelley was Vice President, Finance and Corporate Services at the Central East LHIN, where she was responsible for finance, facilities management, information management and technology. Previously, Shelley worked as Controller/Director of Finance at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Director, Finance and Information Technology at the Public Services Health and Safety Association, and Controller at the LHIN Shared Services Office. She has held various other financial and corporate roles in the health care, not-for-profit and private sectors.
Shelley is a Certified Professional Account, Certified Management Accountant, and holds a Bachelor of Science from York University. She also completed programs in enterprise risk management from the Society of Management Accountants, and business leadership for financial executives from the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management. She also completed training as a personal coach, and is a member of the International Coach Federation.
Shelley serves on the Board of Directors of St. Michael’s Homes, a Toronto-based charitable organization providing abstinence-based programs in residential communities of recovery for vulnerable persons seeking an improved quality of life beyond their addiction to alcohol and drugs. She has served in various capacities on other not-for-profit boards for more than 15 years.
