Vice President, Human Resources and Organizational Development, Home and Community Care Support Services
Lisa Tweedy provides human resources leadership for the Champlain, South East, and Central East Home and Community Care Support Services as one aligned support team for all human resource and organizational development matters.
Lisa began her career in health care more than 25 years ago with the Hastings and Prince Edward Counties Home Care Program (previously a department of Quinte Health Care’s Belleville General Hospital). She spent several years in a variety of positions and leadership roles, also working with the South East Community Care Access Centre prior to its transitioning to the South East LHIN (now operating as Home and Community Care Support Services South East).
Lisa provides strategic leadership, direction and oversight for the development, implementation, and evaluation of human capital and organizational development strategies that promote system alignment and enable delivery of patient care. She has maintained oversight for the ongoing management, planning, direction and evaluation of human resources programs, employee and labour relations services. Lisa was also responsible for the implementation and development of the Human Resources Information System.
Lisa is highly knowledgeable and skilled in all areas of human resources, including labour and employment law, employee and labour relations, payroll and pension administration, disability management, and compensation and benefits.Incredibly passionate and proud of her work, Lisa is a designated Certified Human Resources Leader, and a member of the Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Human Resources and Labour Relations degree, with distinction, from Athabasca University, a diploma in Business Administration from Loyalist College, and two certificates in human resources law from York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School.
